Welcome to the world of TEA



How do you like your tea? Sweet, Strong or scorching hot? OR would you like it Iced, green or brewed in a pot? Whether it’s the Chinese Oolong or the famous Indian masala chai, each have their own benefits that you can try!   


Being the second most famous beverage in the world, it is widely associated with different cultures and traditions.  As Helen Saberi states in her book TEA: A Global History  “tea quenches thirst. Heals and sustains. It is drunk for enjoyment’ and for health’.  The meaning of tea has evolved over the centuries. The many benefits of tea have made this simple refreshing beverage a more useful drink that doesn’t just “quench thirst”.  


This blog focuses on the wider uses of tea in health and beauty. It also explores the cultural differences between countries, some use this magical beverage to meditate whereas other use it a medium to bond with people!  
This blog will also focus on the inclusion of food in teatime!
